How to Cite a Lecture in MLA Format
Basic Information
- Start with the speakers names, the title of the speech in quotation marks (if available), the name of the meeting or organization, the location where the lecture took place and the date. Use the descriptor that addresses the type of presentation correctly (e.g., Address, Lecture, Reading, Keynote Speech, Guest Lecture, Conference Presentation). If the publisher is not known, then use n.p or n.d if he/she is known.
